The LAHCDHD offers:
- Routine and recommended childhood vaccinations for children from birth to age 18, including all immunizations required by schools and daycare centers
- Adult vaccinations for school, work, and many other purposes
- COVID-19 vaccinations
- Seasonal Influenza vaccinations
Immunization schedules for routine and recommended childhood and adult immunizations are revisited annually and approved by top disease experts based on the most recent scientific data for each vaccine. Following the recommended immunization schedules for children and adults offers the best protection from diseases.

The Vaccines for Children (VFC) program provides vaccines at no cost for children who are uninsured, underinsured, on Medicaid or Medicaid eligible, and/or Alaskan Native/American Indian.
