Samuel Eckmann, MSW, SWC
Sam, hailing from Montrose, graduated with his Master of Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University in December 2024. In May 2022, he graduated from Castleton University with his Bachelor of Social Work. Prior to working as a therapist, he gained experience working in residential treatment for adolescent boys, wilderness therapy, and crisis resolution. Sam enjoys working with a variety of age groups, and has a special knack for working with adolescents. While therapy can feel intimidating for some of us, Sam takes a relational approach to get to know his clients for who they are, meeting them where they are at in their life journey. Sam is eager to continue gaining education and knowledge in the mental health field, and to explore a variety of therapeutic modalities as he works his way toward full licensure. When he is not at work, he loves to spend time outside (when he has energy), often finds himself watching reality television (when he has no energy), and can never quite shake the adventure bug. Sam loves a good smoothie and finds it incredibly difficult to turn down a slice of pie, especially if it's homemade.
After receiving your voucher for free sessions, reach out at Sam at (970) 765-7179 or seckmann@collaborativetraumasolutions.com to get started.
