The Change The Narrative campaign was created in partnership between the health department, local leaders, and the University of Colorado Nursing faculty to help people learn about the real-life stories of those affected by drug and alcohol problems. The intention for this campaign is to raise awareness about substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health to our citizens in Las Animas and Huerfano Counties, as well as to share our experience to help others across Colorado.
